Hospital Staff

Kim Damico

A veterinary assistant at Harborside Veterinary Hospital since 2004, Kim Damico enjoys working with the caring staff and loves meeting the new clients and pets that come into the hospital each day. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, swimming and going to the beach. Her animal companions include two cats, Pebbles and Belle.

Tory Kirrane

A veterinary assistant at Harborside Veterinary Hospital since 2005, Tory Kirrane enjoys working with the hospital's caring staff and veterinarians. She enjoys the companionship of two dogs, Rex and Duke, and a cat named R.C.

Erica Cameron

Veterinary Assistant Erica Cameron has been with Harborside Veterinary Hospital since 2008 when she started as an intern during her senior year at Huntington High School. She is currently studying to become a Veterinary Technician and hopes to one day become a veterinarian.

Her duties with us include assisting during routine exams and procedures, providing client support, filling medication orders, and assisting with lab tests.

Asked what she enjoys most about her work, Erica says, "After getting my first dog I became extremely interested in animals. The love and care in this veterinary hospital is amazing and one day I hope to follow in Dr. Frevola's footsteps and open my own clinic."

At home, Erica has two Pembroke Welsh Corgis named Corkie and Jaybe as well as a turtle. Her hobbies include boating, days at the beach, reading, skiing, hiking, camping and general being outdoors.

Liz Dougal

Veterinary Assistant Liz Dougal has been with Harborside Veterinary Hospital since February of 2010.

Despite being a relatively new member of the staff, Liz has long been interested in animals and animal care. "I started bringing my own animals to Dr. Frevola 12 years ago," she says. "The staff and doctors have always given excellent care to all of my animals and now that I work here it is a great learning experience."

At home, Liz has three cats named Morpheus, Trinity and Willow; an Australian Shepherd named Juliet; and a registered Paint horse named Dolly. Her family is also the owner of Indian Head Ranch where she has been training, showing and breeding horses since 2007.

Liz's other hobbies include tennis and running.

Marisol

Marisol Maddox has been a veterinary assistant at Harborside Veterinary Hospital since 2003. She loves her job helping animals and enjoys working with the fantastic and dedicated staff.

Marisol received a BA in Environmental Studies from Binghamton University and plans on returning to school to become a Registered Nurse.

In her free time she likes hiking with her Australian Shepherd, cheering on the NY Giants, gardening, cooking, ranch sorting and going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
